Benalmádena Pueblo is only a couple of kilometres up the road from the beach, but it is a different world. An immaculately clean and very pretty little white town that still preserves the spirit of the old times.
You will feel yourself transported to another wold!
Set high at the top of the hill there is a very pretty church, Santo Domingo, in a peaceful garden; the views from this privileged enclave are spectacular!
There is also an interesting museum of Mexican artefacts, many lovely shops and a castle. Stroll through the gardens and enjoy a refreshing drink in one of its many squares shaded by orange trees. With a bit of luck, this idyllic location will be further enhanced by beautiful music played on a harp by a local gentleman. All this will make your visit to this peaceful and beautiful village unforgettable.
